A little help

Let’s get you back to creating.

Help with your desktop, companion app, and Velorn account.

Updated October 20, 2026.

Velorn-funded Luna is available only when activated for specifically approved pilot accounts. Installing an update does not grant funded access.

Talk to us

For help, bug reports, and account or privacy questions. Velorn is operated by Jaime Aguirre.

We retain resolved support emails for up to 90 days after resolution. Hosting-provider backups and copies held by you or other recipients have separate retention. See our retention information, or ask us about earlier removal.

For general discussion, you can also visit the Velorn community on Discord. Keep private account details and project content out of public channels.

A useful bug report

  • Your device model, operating system, and Velorn app version, if available.
  • What you were trying to do, what happened, and the approximate time.
  • Whether the desktop was open and whether you were using Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  • A screenshot with private names, messages, and account information removed, if it helps.

Never send your password, API keys, recovery codes, or sign-in links. You do not need to send an entire project for an initial report.

Common questions

What is Velorn-funded Luna?

It is an optional, limited AI pilot for approved Velorn accounts. It uses GPT-6 Luna through Velorn’s service and OpenAI, without signing into someone else’s Codex account. Your message, relevant chat history, project context, selected images and enabled tool results leave the desktop for processing. Read the funded Luna disclosure before using it.

The pilot supports text, images and the Velorn tools enabled on your desktop, including research and expanded tool access when you enable them. Normal approval steps still apply to editing actions. Raw audio and complete video files are not direct inputs to this model adapter; sampled frames and text results may be shared. Video preview/download are separate from sending video to the model.

Do Luna allowances refill or pay for video generation?

No. This pilot uses fixed account and overall allowances, with no automatic refills or renewal. It does not pay for video generation or a separate cloud service. If the allowance is exhausted, expired or unavailable, Velorn stops this provider; it does not automatically switch to your personal Codex login or another provider.

A request with an uncertain result can keep its reserved allowance to prevent accidental duplicate spending. Check the visible result before trying again, and contact support if you need help. Do not create another account or repeat an editing request to try to bypass an allowance limit.

My phone asks to update before using Luna.

Both the desktop and companion need versions that understand the Share with Velorn and OpenAI? permission. An older companion may refuse the request rather than send without that permission. Update through the approved test channel; do not put an API key into the phone or desktop. Choosing Cancel in the permission dialog keeps your draft and sends nothing.

My computer is offline or won’t connect.

Keep Velorn open on your computer and make sure both devices have internet access. Sign in with the same Velorn account and refresh the Computers screen. A new phone or tablet may need approval on the desktop. Check whether the computer has gone to sleep.

If reconnecting still fails, send us the message shown on screen. Avoid repeatedly sending an editing or generation request while its result is uncertain.

Preview video and Download do different things?

Preview plays the media for review. Download lets you save or share a copy. Both need access to the file on your connected desktop. A copy you save to Files, Photos, or another app remains there independently of Velorn.

The text feels too small.

Use Text size in the companion’s account/settings screen. You can also hide detailed tool output with Show tool details. System accessibility settings can affect the display differently across devices.

Does my desktop need a Velorn account?

Local desktop editing does not require a Velorn account. The companion’s account is used to discover and securely connect to your computers. An AI or cloud-generation provider may separately require its own account or credentials.

I can’t sign in.

Use the same sign-in method you originally used, such as Google or email and password. Password recovery is available on the hosted email/password sign-in page. We will never ask you to send us your password or a one-time code.

Account and privacy

Privacy information explains how companion accounts and connections handle data. In iOS preview builds with the feature, choose Help & account → Delete account to begin self-service deletion. Account deletion information explains the confirmation steps, recovery, and what remains under your control.

If deletion is pending or finishing device cleanup, keep the app installed and use Check deletion status. Do not submit another deletion or create a replacement account to try to clear that screen. Contact us if it does not finish.

Signing out ends account access; it does not delete the account or your desktop project files.
